NYC was great. I had fun, spent time with old friends, and ate not as bad as I thought I would. I actually maintained while I was there.

As?of Monday, I am back on track. I actually cleaned out my cupbaords and removed two full, heavy paper sacks full of stuff we do not eat or we do not NEED to eat. My husband and I, mostly me, made a menu for the week. So far, we are sticking to it. The kids have grumbled a little, but they will survive. We are being a littel more meatless at our house though. The only meat ate in our house yesterday was on the turkey sandwich I had for lunch with the broiled tomatoes (I will have to share the recipe, it’s delicious!). We had Boca Chik’n patties for supper with carrots and string cheese and lots of H2O). The kids didn’t even know the difference. They tasted exactly like a cheap, nasty chicken patty. My kids like Boca anyway. I do not think they would have put up much of a fight though, if any.

I have lost 3.2 since Monday. Probably ‘water weight’, but I still need to slow down. The thing with me is when I do watch what I eat, the pounds literally fall off without exercise. I am adding my treadmill back in next week. I am getting re-adjusted to my eating this week then I will get into my exercise. My husband is frustrated as he is not losing any yet and we are eating the same thing. I wanted to tell that his canned ham sandwich he took to work last nigth is not very beneficial to his loss. He works swing shift and is on graveyards. His meals are hard for him when on this shift. I have to stress to him that college footbal was 12 years ago. He does not have 20 hours a day to workout anymore!!! MEN!!

Long story short, I am back and ready for action and that is the whole point, right???
